Teens Caught With Garbage Can Full of Items Taken From Cars

Home invasion investigated

A resident in the 31000 block of Champine called police Jan. 24 after noticing the back door of his home was open. Investigators found pry marks on the window, and the house in disarray.

Two Roseville teens were arrested early Jan. 26 after a Roseville police officer saw them pulling a garbage can full of items they allegedly took from cars in St. Clair Shores. The officer stopped two Roseville boys, 16- and 17-years-old, on Normandy near Marquette. The officer searched the garbage can and discovered items - including credit cards, tools, cigarettes and a sub-woofer - that were stolen from cars in St. Clair Shores. The were arrested for larceny from a vehicle.
