I am voting for Obama because of the way he handled the attack in Libya.
Dear Editor: (not published)
Gary Stripp’s letter (Oct 21, 2012) “Failure to take action in Libya cost a good man his life” caught my attention because I participated in The Rebuilding Alliance’s internet project “I Light My Candle in Memory of Chris” in honor of Ambassador Stevens. He is from California and TRA from San Mateo, CA, knows his family. This TRA project was world wide because of Chris’ wonderful reputation in diplomatic circles around the globe. He spoke Arabic and was a believer in not making diplomatic posts fortresses like the one in Bagdad. He was accessible and was supportive of the Libyan people and they of him. There doesn’t seem to be any articles concerning those Libyans providing security at the embassy who were killed along with Ambassador Stevens and the three Americans during/after the attack. I imagine that Chris would want the families of those Libyans who died, acknowledged and thanked along with the Americans. That is the kind of man he was. I also think that his family is mourning him and receiving the outpouring of support from around the world from all those who knew him personally and diplomatically and read about him and what he stood for. Gary Stripp might take the time himself to write Chris’ family and ask them if they want an investigation, while in the same letter, I hope, he offers his personal condolences.
Sincerely,
Mares Hirchert

Romney-Ryan, that's the ticket. All the things that Obama promised, Romney will deliver. Instead of a new Secretary Chair of Business, proposed by Obama, to fix the economy, let's skip the additional red tape and put someone in the oval office who is a proven problem solver , and already knows business. He is successful. Don't we all want to be successful? One way to be successful is to let someone show the way who has already been down the path, and that is Romney.

Lee - the "businessman halo" doesn't work so well with POTUS'. The last businessman POTUS'? George W. Bush and Hoover. Those didn't work out so well.
Last POTUS with PEACEtime prosperity and 23 million jobs? Bill Clinton. And the architect of this economic boom - chairman of Bill Clinton’s Council of Economic Advisers - just endorsed Obama.

Obama has Clinton's plan. Romney has W policies and nearly ALL his advisors. Which do you think will work out? We've seen this movie before-
