St. Clair by the Lake Condo Association can relate to the concerns that the property owners North of Masonic have with regards to the debris against their seawalls.
We have had a seawall built next to us that goes out into the lake at a 43 degree angle from parallel to shore.
With an easterly wind this steep angle allows debris to bounce off and get trapped in front of our property. This wall was not built to the permit as issued by the DNRE. All the changes were allowed by the Water Resources and Advisory Committee, a volunteer group who work for the City of St. Clair Shores.
