St. Isaac Jogues Starts Football Season With Victories
All three St. Isaac Jogues football teams started the 2012 season with victories.
St. Isaac Jogues started the 2012 season on a winning note.
The freshmen football team defeated Redford Catholic Saturday.
The junior varsity team defeated Notre Dame Marist 28-0 Sunday. Kamren Johnson led the team with 21 points and Jacob Caruso scored 7 points and led the team in tackles.
The varsity team also won, with a 34-12 victory over Notre Dame Sunday. Scott Nelson led the Chargers in scoring with three touchdowns. Joe Charrette had over 100-yards rushing. Charles Harr led the team in tackles.
Next games for St. Isaac include:
- The freshmen play Our Lady of Counsel Sat., Sept. 8.
- The junior varsity, and varsity, teams play at St. Frances Cabrini Sat., Sept. 8.
The teams are still accepting new players.
