St. Clair Shores Police Seek Suspect in Stabbing
St. Clair Shores police are seeking a suspect in a stabbing early Sunday at the Shore Pointe Motor Lodge.
St. Clair Shores Police are seeking a man who reportedly stabbed two men early Sunday in the parking lot of the Shore Pointe Motor Lodge.
According to a release, police were called about 3:20 a.m. Sunday to the motel for a stabbing of two men in the parking lot.
The victims are hospitalized in temporary serious condition. Police are seeking a 5-foot 8-inch male with a medium build and dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing dark pants and a camoflauge jacket. He is believed to have been driving a silver or gray, small four-door car, possibly a Chevrolet or Dodge.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at (586) 445-5300.

Homer dreadlocks doesnt imply black..... Dreadlocks were first worn by jamicans then the whites in the 70's.... The blacks atarted wearing them well after.

Andie - while I can appreciate the historical lesson, my point remains the same. There is a 99% chance this scumbag was black, but someone, be it the Patch, or another reporting agency, chose to avoid using the term black for whatever reason.
Do you not see the increase in crime in SCS and how almost all of the time it is the scum of Detroit making its way here?

That i do, and i dont agree with the terms they choose to use. However, maybe those involved dont know if he was black, white,hispanic or Arabic....all of which are very populated in that area of town, but they knew he had dreads. Think if you had just witnessed or been the victim at 3:20 in the morning in a poorly lit parking lot what u would truely see......outlines not colors hence the two chioces in the car.

Jim, black is if african desent Jamaicans as well as Hawaiians are of dark color (be it black or tan) heck even eskimos can be black.... My point was and is dreads dont imply black i know a few whites that where dreads.... And as far as good ol detroit....maybe but could be just as much from eastpoint or warren or roseville or any of the grosse points
