One man died and a second was hospitalized after their boat capsized on Lake St. Clair on Saturday.
A boat crew from Coast Guard Station St. Clair Shores was notified by a 911 dispatcher that an 18-foot boat that had capsized and was sinking near the Black Creek, south of the Clinton River.
Coast Guard personnel located the the men, who were passengers in the boat and were wearing life jackets, and transported them to shore. The men were taken to Mount Clemens Regional Hospital. One man was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to a release from the U.S. Coast Guard.
The names of the men were not released.
