Sports Brief: Lakeview Golfers Defeat U of D
Lakeview golfers recently defeated U of D Jesuit High in a non-league scrimmage.
The Lakeview golf team defeated U of D Jesuit High 160-166 April 4 in a non-league scrimmage.
Danny Schwarzwalder shot 36, Tom Garbe 37, Billy Frattini 42 and Alex Rovda 44, according to scores provided by coach Val Cimini.
"My guys did a great job sticking together as a team," he wrote in an email.
The Huskies played U of D on their home course of Detroit Golf Club. It is a par 34 on the south course.
