Voting in the Shores: Presidential Primary Facts and Polling Places
Voters will be heading to the polls Tuesday for the presidential primary. Patch has important information if you are planning to vote.

Voters in St. Clair Shores will have their chance Tuesday to take part in the presidential nominating process.
Similar to the general election, polls in the Shores will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Voters also have the option voting by absentee ballot. According to City Clerk Mary Kotowski, 5,409 absentee ballots have been issued as of Tuesday morning with about 58 percent returned.
If a voter utilizes an absentee ballot, it must be returned to City Hall by 8 p.m. Tuesday. A ballot mailed Tuesday will not be counted.
Kotowski added that the clerk's office will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday to issue absentee ballots for the primary. Voters can also vote absentee at the clerk's office until 4 p.m. Monday.
