Police Blotter: Brass Knuckles Discovered at Fair

St. Clair Shores police arrested an Eastpointe man who had brass knuckles at the St. Joan of Arc fair. Police also are investigating alleged thefts from Kmart and a dispute between brothers.

Brass Knuckles Found at Fair

An 18-year-old Eastpointe man was arrested Saturday night at the fair after officers saw him allegedly displaying brass knuckles. Michael Lossing, who was allegedly drunk, was arraigned Monday on charges of possession of a dangerous weapon and minor in possession charges. He received a $5,000, or 10 percent, bond.

A 20-year-old St. Clair Shores resident and Kmart employee was arrested Thursday after he allegedly stole video games from the and placed them in his car. Ian Love was arrested for embezzlement and is free on bond.

Perfume and Games Allegedly Stolen

A 21-year-old St. Clair Shores man and a 20-year-old Roseville woman were arrested Wednesday after allegedly stealing a bottle of Playboy perfume and video games from . Security stopped the couple as they attempted to exit the store. Police are continuing their investigation.

Dispute Between Brothers

A 36-year-old St. Clair Shores man was arrested May 17 after he got in a fight with his 19-year-old brother in the 22700 block of Englehardt. Officers were called to the house because the two men didn't get along, according to reports. Scott Osborn, 36, allegedly turned off the power to his younger brother's bedroom while he was playing video games. The younger brother threatened his brother that if he turned off the power again, he would defecate in front of his bedroom door. Osborn allegedly turned off the power, and his brother defecated. Osborn then allegedly choked his younger brother until he agreed to clean the feces. Osborn was charged with assault and battery, and is free on personal bond.
