St. Clair Shores Police Blotter: Man Who Pointed Gun at Swimmers to Stand Trial

Man who pulled gun on swimmer to stand trial
Jason Dziurgalski, a 35-year-old St. Clair Shores man charged with five counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, will be arraigned in Monday in Macomb Circuit Court for allegedly pointing a gun at a group of swimmers at the pool at an apartment complex in the 28100 block of Jefferson. Dziurgalski is free on bond.
Satellite Radio Stolen
A St. Clair Shores resident in the 32600 block of Harper reported that his vehicle was broken into July 20 and his satellite radio unit was stolen.
A resident was walking her dog early July 19 near Hoffman and Jefferson and saw a male exiting a yard in the area and enter a white vehicle. St. Clair Shores police were contacted and searched the area and discovered that car documents, sunglasses and gift certificates.
Owners of Ride Perfection Center reported July 18 that the front door was broken into and cash was taken out of the register.
An 84-year-old resident in the 20500 block of Mauer reported that someone had thrown a rock through the door wall window July 19 and enter his home. He saw a man whom he thought was his grandson, who told him "shhh," and went to back to bed.
A 50-year-old homeless Los Angeles reported being robbed July 17 after she gave a man $400 to get her an apartment. The woman met a man in Detroit who said that he was a police cadet and help her get an apartment. The 6-foot tall, 180-pound man and the woman boarded a bus and came to to St. Clair Shores to the Masonic and Harper. The man demanded $400, and she withdrew the money from an ATM. The pair began walking north toward 14 Mile, and she turned back because she didn't want to stay in hotels in the area. She called police, and she was taken to McLaren Macomb Hospital for observation.
