Shelby-Utica is behind in donation totals. Please help out in our efforts to feed hungry children in the area.

Marina, I will give because of people like GP who feel like it's a joke. I just gave yesterday and will do what ever I can this year.

Marina, it's not how much you give, it's where you give from. I give from my heart, not my wallet.

HI GP For Life: Although I agree with you about giving from the heart, I hope it helps fill the bellies of little ones in the metro Detroit area.

Marina, oddly enough, just the prior weekend I had rocked on down to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen to drop off a donation. My point, which apparently was lost on Ms. Mathie, is that charity is something from the heart. It's not a competition based on value. I have seen some fantastic acts of charity made of the smallest things from the people that have had the least that have dwarfed seven- or eight-figure checks. It's where you give from.

Perhaps if GP didn't come off so flippant in the first response, he could have said that from the get go. Jusy sayin.

Peoples' perception of me is not my problem, neither is puncuating my thoughts with factless and pointless assertions.

No assertions, just reading your original post as is.
