Mark Hackel's 50th Birthday Party to Support Big Brothers Big Sisters

The Macomb County Executive will celebrate his 50th birthday with an event that will benefit the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit.

 

Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel will celebrate his 50th birthday with a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit at C.J. Barrymore’s in Clinton Township on Tuesday, May 15.

The event will run from 6-9:30 p.m. May 15. There is a suggested donation of $20, and all proceeds will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit.

Hackel is on the organization’s Board of Directors.

“Big Brothers Big Sisters is a fantastic organization that I am proud to be a part of,” Hackel said in a press release. “Mentoring has been a big part of my life and I’m happy that my birthday celebration will lend support to such an important program.”

Noble and respectable cause. Executive could have hosted a political fund raiser like a lesser politician but instead opted for the charity event.
