Man Caught on Home Surveillance Camera Arraigned
A 29-year St. Clair Shores man caught on surveillance camera after he allegedly burglarized a home on Frazho Road has been arrested by police and was arraigned Monday in 40th District Court.

A St. Clair Shores man who police say was caught on surveillance camera searching through a Frazho Road home was arraigned Monday in 40th District Court.
James Marino, 29, was arraigned on a charge of home invasion, second degree, before 40th District Court Judge Mark Fratarcangeli.
St. Clair Shores police arrested Marino Saturday after receiving tips from Patch readers, and other media outlets, who viewed still images from the surveillance camera footage of the Feb. 19 robbery and were able to identify him.
The video from the home in the 20000 block of Frazho showed a man going through drawers and rummaging through the house, Detective Dennis Kozikowski said.
Police said Marino took jewelry and money. He is being held in the Macomb County Jail on $30,000 bond. He will be back in court March 5.

I believe as a reporter you should have your story right before you post it. SCS PD shouldn't have the credit for a man who turned himself in. Yes that's right he turned himself in knowing what he did was wrong and he's taking responibles for his actions. This man has his own stuggles he needs to over come and yes he made a wrong choice but he's a good person with allot of good choices too.

The cops did nothing; he turned himself in and brought the majority of the items he stole with him to the police station. Shotty reporting...obviously can't trust what "the patch" has to say...they must be just as backwards as the city officials are.

A Camera in the home may just stop this from happening. I think it should be as important as the smoke alarm, and carbon detector.
