Local Ideas for Father's Day
Looking for the perfect gift for dad and trying to shop locally? Patch has some ideas.
Father's Day is Sunday, and if families in St. Clair Shores are looking for something unique, Patch has you covered.
Our first suggestion is from Lakeside Fishing Shop, where anglers of all skill levels can purchase a rod and reel combination for as low as $29.99. Julie Beltowski, manager at the shop, said the Shakespeare rod and reel combo is quite popular due to the seven-year warranty.
Beltowski added that if wives or children are unsure of which rod or lure to purchase, gift certificates are quite popular.
Shores Fireplace and BBQ
If your dad is the master of the grill, this store may be the place for him. Shores Fireplace and BBQ, which recently opened on Mack, offers utensils to cook the perfect steaks, replacement parts for grills and barbecues for the beginner to professional chef. Store personnel will also assemble grills.
Harper Sport Shop
Before dad hits the links, or cheers on the Tigers, head over to Harper Sport Shop for fan gear and golf apparel. Mark Seppala, Harper Sport Shop vice president, said Tigers items are popular gifts along with golf shirts and workout gear that "whisks away sweat."
St. Clair Shores Country Club
If your dad already his golf gear, why not get him a gift certificate to play a round of golf at the St. Clair Shores Country Club? The city owned, 18-hole golf course has a playing distance of 6,040 yards.
