Lakeview Tennis Falls to Sterling Heights

The Huskies lost 5-3 in Tuesday's match.

 

The Lakeview tennis team lost to Sterling Heights 5-3 on Tuesday at Jefferson Middle School.

Ben Moxon and James Blumline prevailed at No. 1 doubles for Lakeview by defeating Sterling Heights’ Eric Jackovich and Zach Smith 6-3, 7-5.

Lakeview’s Tom Kacir won by default at No. 4 singles, and the Huskies’ Drew Pattyn and Chris Swierczynski won by default at No. 4 doubles.

Troy Gargrave of Sterling Heights defeated Lucas Hicks 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles; Joel Tyenda of Sterling Heights defeated Jeff Jaszczak  6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 singles; and Henry Fu of Sterling Heights defeated Ryan Encheff 6-3, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.

Corey Zech and Evan Huntoon of Sterling Heights defeated Chris Heintz and Connor Desmond 6-7 (6), 6-0, 6-3 at No. 2 doubles; and Allen Xie and Kamal Damphella of Sterling Heights defeated Josh Kroll and Isaac Smith 6-1, 6-1.
