Lakeview Falls to Detroit Southeastern in District Final
The Huskies lost 65-33 to Detroit Southeastern Friday in the boys basketball district championship game, according to the Lakeview Athletics Twitter feed.
Lakeview High School's varsity boys basketball team fell 65-33 Friday to Detroit Southeastern in the Class A District 22 championship at East Detroit High School.
Although Lakeview fell in the championship game, this was the first Huskies team in nearly 30 years to win a league championship. The team is the Macomb Area Conference Silver Division champion for the season.
The Huskies finish the season 19-4.
