In Video: Selfridge Air Show Highlights
The Selfridge Air Show lured aviation enthusiasts Saturday to the military base in Harrison Township.
Attendees came out in droves Saturday to Selfridge Air National Guard Base to check out classic jets and currently used military fighters, both docked and in flight.
Planes flying overhead included an Oregon Aero Skydancer, a Boeing B-47 Stratojet and Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, a Douglas C-47 Skytrain, WWII Bombers, T-6 Texan II, B-25 Mitchell Bomber, KC-135 Stratotanker and many others. Tricks and special effects prompted many loud "oohs" and "aahs" from the crowd.
