In Photos: Cavs Thump Lincoln 41-0
Stingy defensive effort and explosive offense rolls past Abes.
In a display that could be considered nothing short of dominating, South Lake pushed its 2011 regular-season mark to a perfect 3-0 Friday night with a 41-0 drubbing of Macomb Area Conference Bronze rival, Warren Lincoln.
The victory also kept the Cavs unbeaten in the Bronze at 2-0 on the season.
Behind a trio of first-half touchdowns from senior Bradley Mitchell, the Cavs cruised to a 29-0 lead at the half.
As it turned out, the team only needed a lone point to earn the victory thanks in large part to another superb effort from the team's defense.
A defense, it should be noted, that has given up zero points thus far this season.
The schedule gets tougher for South Lake next Friday when the team plays out-of-division and welcomes Lake Shore to the stadium.
