Families are invited to bring candy they collected from trick-or-treating, school parties and trunk-or-treat Halloween events to a local dentist office for a candy buy back event.

Unopened candy will be purchased by Dr. Steven Stricker's office then sent to men and women serving overseas.

Dr. Steven Stricker, 25815 Harper, will hold a candy buy back from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3. This year the event will feature a bounce house, Humvee and a U.S. Army soldier. There will also be donuts, cider, hot dogs, chips, snacks and stations for children to draw pictures to send to the troops.
