U.S. Coast Guard Rerservist Kenneth Randazzo returned home to surprise family at Kennedy Middle School.

U.S. Coast Guard Maritime Enforcement Specialist First Class Kenneth Randazzo returned home to St. Clair Shores Wednesday after spending seven months serving in Kuwait to surprise his family.

Randazzo, a Coast Guard Reservist, had been deployed overseas for the first time in his career. After being away from his family since March 1, he returned home and went directly to Jefferson Middle School where his daughter was playing in volleyball game.

Following Andrea Randazzo's seventh grade volleyball game against Pierce Middle School, the Randazzo family was called onto the court for a "special visitor."

After dealing with months away from his family, a sometimes spotty Internet connection while providing security in one of the most volatile regions in the world, Kenneth Randazzo was back in the arms of his family.
