Muscle cars, unique customs and vehicles representing more than 100 years of automotive history were on display, and on the road, for the annual Kiwanis Harper Charity Cruise.

The 18th edition of the cruise, which raises money for local charities, allowed cruisers to take one last spin with their classic cars this summer and businesses to host a variety of parties for those attending the event.

Although the official hours for the cruise were 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, some cruisers began arriving just after 7 a.m. to claim the best spots along the route.
