One of St. Clair Shores newest businesses is providing a new take on traditional customer service.

Park Pharmacy, which recently opened at 30128 Harper, offers delivery of prescriptions to residents in addition to offering over-the-counter medications and home health care equipment.

"It is very exciting to be in St. Clair Shores and be part of the community," said Ghada Abdallah, co-owner of the pharmacy.

Abdallah believes the delivery service will be popular with seniors and parents with sick children.

This is the second local location for Park Pharmacy, which operates a a location in Grosse Pointe Park. The 1,500-square foot pharmacy also offers vaccinations, flu shots and can accept prescriptions electronically from doctors.

The Macomb Chamber and Mayor Robert Hison recently welcomed Park Pharmacy to the city with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
