Boaters Raise Their Sails for Leukemia Fundraiser

Nearly 30 sailboats took part Saturday in the annual Leukemia Cup Regatta.

Nearly 30 boats cast off from the Great Lakes Yacht Club Saturday morning for the Leukemia Cup Regatta.

The three-race regatta on Lake St. Clair raises funds for blood cancer research and patient services. 

In addition to the boats sailing on the water, members of the Nautical Mile Merchants Association are selling paper sailboats to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
