The St. Clair Shores Waterfront Environmental Committee and the We Are Here Foundation are offering $500 scholarships to outstanding Class of 2011 senior high school students who either live in or attend St. Clair Shores high schools.

The money will go toward tuition at a four-year university or toward a two-year degree program. The Waterfront Environmental Committee's Scholarship Subcommittee will select the winners.

To be eligible students must have been involved in one of the Committee's local projects. Deadline is 4 p.m. Nov. 30.
