The City of St. Clair Shores has shared the following:

All men and women who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces are asked to report to the VFW Bruce Post 1146 at 28404 Jefferson at 5 p.m. Nov. 11 to pose for a group picture.

The photo will be published in the 2012 City Calendar, featured for the month of November, as a salute to those who serve and served. Everyone is asked to wear a uniform, if possible, and anyone who is serving or has served is welcome to participcate, whether nor not he or she belongs to the VSO, wartime, peacetime, stateside, foreign, et cetera.
