Two residents were honored for their service to senior citizens over the summer.
The Senior Center of the Shores (SCOTS) Board thanked Jeff Jaszczak, a Lakeview High School student, and Nathan Powers, a St. Clair Shores resident, for mowing residents' lawns.
The presentation took place in October at the St. Clair Shores Senior Center for Active Adults, located at 20000 Stephens.
The center and city are always looking for volunteers to help area seniors.
