Dr. Mark Sadzikowski has received the Outstanding Physician and Humanitarian Award from Beaumont Health System.

Dr. Sadzikowski, of St. Clair Shores, works locally and has practiced medicine globally. He has practiced medicine on all seven continents.

He has also organized donations of supplies and money for medical missions to Bosnia, Honduras, the Philippines, Nepal, Africa and the Amazon.

“I am pleased to have begun a tradition at Beaumont where, with the Outstanding Doctors’ Awards, we celebrate the accomplishments of our medical staff,” said Beaumont Health System Chief Medical Officer Ananias Diokono, M.D., in a release. “These annual awards, based on physician nominations, symbolize the dedication, caring and skill of
Beaumont physicians.” 

Sadzikowski is an emergency physician at Beaumont Hospital, Grosse Pointe.
