Check this out: September is national Library Card Sign-Up Month, and the St. Clair Shores Public Library is encouraging youngsters -- or anyone, for that matter -- to pick up a library card. Once that's in hand, they'll have a handy educational tool to help them study and learn, and a great entertainment resource which gets them access to thousands of books, movies, CDs and more -- almost all of it for free, no less.

Simply sign up at the library. All you'll do is fill out a short registration form -- be sure to bring ID with address -- and in no time you'll have worlds of knowledge at your fingertips at little to no cost to you.
