Raffle Benefits Senior Center's Meal Program

The St. Clair Shores Senior Activities Center is selling raffle tickets to benefit the center's meal program.
Tickets are $10 apiece, and prizes include a trip for two to Las Vegas (includes American Airlines airfare, three nights at the Cosmopolitan hotel, and VIP tickets to see Celine Dion). Other prizes include two $1,000 winners, two $500 prizes, and three $250 winners.
Tickets can be bought at the St. Clair Shores Post Office until 4 p.m. Wednesday, and at the senior center through noon Thursday.
Proceeds from the sale of the tickets will be used to help supplement the meal program, which serves about 500 people a month, according to Mary Cipriano, a volunteer at the senior center.
For every ticket sold, three meals can be provided for seniors, Cipriano added.
