State Senator Steve Bieda (pictured at right) greets students from Jefferson Middle School, in St. Claire Shores, Macomb County, who participated in the 12^th annual AT&T/MACUL Student Technology Showcase held November 28 at the State Capitol Building in Lansing. The school was one of nearly 35 elementary, middle and high schools statewide that participated in the event, whose purpose is to show elected members of the Michigan State Senate and House of Representatives how technology is being used in the classroom to enhance student achievement.
